Good option if visiting from Karnataka or international routes not covered by Chennai.
Pondicherry Airport (PNY) – approx. 105 km / 2.5 hours by road
Limited flights but useful for regional connections.
By Train
Tiruvannamalai Railway Station (station code: TNM) is well connected to various cities in Tamil Nadu and South India.
Regular trains from Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Vellore, Madurai, and Tirupati.
Overnight trains like the Tirukkural Express (via Villupuram) may be convenient.
The station is just 2–3 km from the Arunachaleswarar Temple and Ramana Ashram.
Auto rickshaws and taxis are easily available at the station.

By Road
